It all sounds great, but what does this App actually do?
The app helps planning with money and encourages the process of saving. By inputting how much a user is saving for, then creating a plan for that user. The main purpose is to observe how well the user is following the plan.
I’ve seen other Apps that serve similar purposes. What makes yours the best?
Our app is the only app to specifically be made with young adults and how to help them with financial struggles in mind. All other financial apps are meant to meet bills and real financial responsibilities. This app, however, is to teach and prepare for that adult responsibility by encouraging saving with rewards.
How often are there updates to the App?
The goal is to get updates every three months. However, as the application gets older and mature the updates will not be timed but as a problem is observed and needs to be corrected.
About the Founders?
Who are the Founders?
The founders are three Bayside High School Students, located in Palm Bay, Florida. The CEO and developer is Destiny Medina, the COO and head developer is Malaki (Lucky) Kangala, and the CFO and marketing director is Zakary Rawles.
What Gave Us this Idea?
We came up with an application that offers discounts, points and rewards when users are saving money or logging in. We created an app that would encourage the start of financial responsibility because of our own financial trouble. We want to help young adults and prepare them for the future.
Why Do We Care?
We are becoming young adults and with that comes independence and responsibility. As we had to face these new challenges, mostly financial, we started to realize we had no idea what we were doing. That is because we were never taught how to handle or keep track of money. We care because this affects our life as much as our demographic's lives.
